Glissen Gloss Rainbow Blending Threads 000 Bright White, 407 Brass, 901 Silver, 903 Charcoal and Weeks Dye Works 2198 Ivy (DMC sub 523/3363) are used in addition to DMC colors 310, 317, 318, 347, 413, 414, 415, 471, 472, 498, 502, 598, 640, 642, 644, 676, 677, 680, 729, 746, 747, 754, 758, 762, 775, 814, 822, 890, 934, 948, 986, 3325, 3328, 3346, 3348, 3362, 3363, 3364, 3371, 3755, 3756, 3781, 3799, 3811, 3813, 3841 and 3865. The design is embellished with Mill 03049 Rich Red Seed Beads and 12035 small, 12037 medium, 12039 large Snowflake Glass Treasures (1 each).

Santa Train Stocking

I made one stocking and almost finished with a second. I changed the pattern so that I only did the train without the village at the top, etc. Even doing this I couldn't get the whole cowcatcher on the material. I bought the DMC Charles Craft 15 X 18 in. Aida cloth at a store in a neighboring town which is the only place that sells it. I didn't want to make it any bigger because my granddaughter hangs them all on the stairway and I try to keep them all about the same size.. If I had used smaller than 14 ct. I wouldn't be able to see to stitch. I liked the pattern for the train.
